I’ve come out to all of my friends as gay, but think I’m bi
Okay so I’m Gay, but really feel like I’m bisexual. Ive knew I was gay for a while, like a pretty long time, so when I was ready and ppl would ask I would just be like yeah I’m gay. Completely avoiding the idea that I could be straight. But recently I’ve realized that I think I’m bi. I have lots and lots of girlfriends who all think I’m gay and accept me for me, but I can’t stop thinking about the fact that if I come out as bi they’ll feel betrayed by the fact that I’m bi. Obviously you don’t have to be gay to be close with girls but the amount of times my friends will be like, “I’d never do this for a straight guy” or “good thing youre gay” and I feel like I’m living a lie. It’s really affecting my mental health and I have no idea what to do, all I wanna do is live my truth because this is truly holding me back, but I would rather put them first to make them feel more comfortable. I’m going to Aruba with three girls and I don’t want them to be weirded out by me being bi, like I don’t have any attraction to them but I just don’t want them to feel uncomfortable. Maybe it’s a lot more straightforward and they won’t actually care as much as I think they will because they truly are great friends, but I’m at the point where it’s giving me constant anxiety and holding me back from the person I want to be.
