1. Prepare the pattern and arrange the beads

First, find a pixel art image of Turtwig (you can use a Pokémon pixel art image, or draw one yourself to scale), and place it under the transparent template for reference.

Use tweezers to place the beads one by one onto the raised dots on the template according to color. Assemble the Turtwig body first, then assemble the surrounding petals, paying attention to aligning the edges.

2. Ironing and Shaping (Crucial Step)

After arranging the beads, completely cover the pattern with ironing paper to prevent the iron from directly contacting the beads.

Set the iron to medium-low temperature (approximately 120-160℃, cotton setting), and iron evenly in a circular motion until the surface of the beads slightly melts and they stick together. Do not iron for too long to avoid deformation.

Flip them over and iron again to set both sides, then let them cool and harden naturally before removing them from the template.

3. Punching Holes + Assembling the Ornaments

Use a hole punch to make a small hole at the top/bottom of the Turtwig and each petal, not too close to the edge to prevent cracking.

Use needle-nose pliers to pry open the opening ring, thread it through the pre-drilled hole, string the grass turtle seedlings and petals together, and then attach a keychain/lantern.

Aren't the Perler beads I made myself cute?[OC]
