"I Miss When Ark Was Just A Dinosaur Game"

I started playing Ark in 2017, I was 11 at the time and now I'm 20. Ark has always had a special place in my heart, I remember the excitement of waiting on the new DLC maps to drop, I remember the tek skins you could purchase. As someone that's been playing for a long time I dont understand why people will complain whenever a new creature comes out that isn't a dinosaur. They always use the "Remember when Ark was a dinosaur game?", but it was never just a dinosaur game. None of the original bosses were dinosaurs, after the first year there were wyverns, rock elementals, phoenixs, and a manticore. I understand when it's something like the pyromane that ruins game balance and is pay to win, but it seems like every single time. Ark isn't a dinsoaur game, it's Sci-fi survival games with dinosaurs.
