I feel like the current state of her ED started a lot earlier (TW: ED)

Disclaimer: This is pure speculation, I have no way of knowing if this is true, this is simply an educated guess.

So back in 2019 or so, there had been quite a series of fat shaming surrounding how she looked. As we know in 2021 is where the Wicked movie auditions were. As we know, she had grown up desiring the role of Glinda. I feel like there is a chance that she had this pre perceived idea of what Glinda looks like, maybe she thought she won’t be pretty enough for Glinda if she doesn’t lose weight. And then it reach the Voice Era, where we know she was casted as Glinda. This could have affirmed that her weight loss had somehow contributed to her casting. Which spiralled from there.

I feel like what happened on set has less to do with the ED than what she perceived Glinda as, as a character. And after the praise she got for being Glinda, she would have continued because for once the general public loved her for something.

I don’t know, this is just a guess. There can be so many other factors, like she said she had PTSD and Depression, and then she mentioned OCD in a podcast which can also have an impact. We don’t know but at this point, but I just don’t want her to die. I love her music so much, please take some time to rest, get some treatment and cancel the tour, fans who care about her won’t be mad.
