Abyss is so random

I love the Abyss mechanic in POE 2 but why is it so extremly inconsistent ?

At first i farmed the mechanic with only 1 Abyss Tablet and i got decent drops.

So i tried to upgrade, i bought 4 Juciy Abyss tablets for some Divine and only used them in City Areas with a full Atlas Tree.

And i did not get a Single good drop, not even a Echo, Nothing. For all 10 Maps.

Is ist bad to run multiple abyss Tablets ? Or ist it just bad luck ?
