GT3, from hard braking to turning...

Ok, let me explain.

Sometimes I'm braking hard down to 2nd or 3d and as I left off, the car wants to violently shift sideways.

I think it's because I'm adding some slight turn or pre-empting the corner.

I think I'm braking hard, turn slightly, then let off the brakes. As the car gains some stability from the braking there is a "snap" and it wants to lurch.

Is this what I'm doing? Is it wrong? Should I be letting off slower?

I'm worried that if I let off slower it'll do a slow over rotation in the corner.
