5.4 better at UI than 5.5?
I'm curious to know if anyone else agrees.
I'm working on a simple online game, and my workflow is basically -> prompt ChatGPT to make a 16:9 mockup of a page -> refine until I'm happy -> ask 5.5 xHigh to actually build the mockup -> then ask 5.5 xHigh to add functionality when I'm happy with it
It was working very well, I have beautiful UI that doesn't scream AI slop. But it's usually a lot of going back and forth and screaming at Codex that it's not following the mockup exactly, until I get what I want.
I was using so much usage that I had to go from the $20 to $100 plan because of how slow it was to get it matching the mockup.
But, I tried the same workflow with 5.4 xHigh, and it just does exactly what I want. There's no back and forth with it because it didn't follow the mockup correctly, it just gets it right the first time. Sometime there's some back and forth but a lot less than I was using 5.5 xHigh, and the usage is a lot less.
I can probably use a lot less usage if I just use 5.4 xHigh for implementing the mockup, and then 5.5 Medium for wiring it up to the backend.
