Music Notes as a Language

Language is just structured sounds 🔊 that we attach meaning to. And while we might fancifully say that music speaks to the soul, it doesn't seem that any language evolved out of instruments or musical notes.

Instruments, I understand, are unneeded when we have our own voice 🗣️, but different note pitches, as in words or an alphabet, make sense. 🎶

It would also be interesting if vibrations, like tapping on the ground, were a type of language/communication method.
