This IRS video selfie thing keeps failing on me

I've been trying to verify my identity online with the IRS so I can get my tax transcript. But the video selfie part just won't work. I've tried good lighting, different angles, no glasses nothing.
Is there seriously no other way to do this without the facial recognition? Can I just call them or mail something in? I really need my transcript. Thanks.
