The lack of a pride update may make me quit dti

Just like the title suggests, I’m very upset with Dti for their response to questions about a pride update.

Everything dti has done lately has been incredibly disappointing and this just took it a level too far for me.

I don’t understand why freedom to love who you want is a “controversial topic” it’s deeply insulting. Dti uses the gay community so often like items based on clothing/accessories made by gay designers, the lady gaga update, certain themes, style showdown, nurse Julie and Lana’s relationship etc. But when it’s time to step up and show solidarity for the community they use to gain more visibility they refuse??

Many games on Roblox (including huge games like Adopt me and Royale High) have pride updates and there are even games specifically dedicated to the lgbtq so getting “shadowbanned” is a disgusting excuse i refuse to accept.

It’s clear their main focus is money. They can’t even do the basic of just possibly adding some patterns or maybe even a customizable flag but they can keep producing shitty ass makeup and patterns locked behind a paywall that can only be unlocked by buying an even shittier doll? I was already upset with dti after the “diamond pass” from the baddie pass, the existence of the dolls, the Lana doll have an item locked behind it after they said they wouldn’t have items and so much more.

As a member of the queer community it is heartbreaking to watch as you are continuously put down and shamed for simply existing. Dti catering to homophobes is incredibly hurtful. Especially because dti wouldn’t be half the game it is (or maybe even exist at all) without the queer influences that inspire it.

All this to say, I have a question to ask myself. Is sacrificing my pride and dignity worth playing a dress up game? I’m currently leaning towards no. Anyways, happy pride to all my fellow queers no matter how hard the world tries to erase us we persevered and will continue to do so 💗🌈.
