37 [M4R] Guernsey UK, looking for new friends or more

​Life gets busy, kids happen, and suddenly you realise your local social circle has disappeared. Between family life and my wife working shifts, my in-person social life has fallen by the wayside lately, so I’m on the lookout for some new people to connect and chat with regularly about pretty much anything.

​

​To give you a bit of background, I work in IT, do a bit of weekend pub work for the social side of things, and enjoy cooking. On the tech and nerdy side, I’m a big fan of science fiction and television, and when I get a bit of downtime, I’m usually into immersive, single-player PC or console gaming. To balance that out, I also spend a fair amount of my spare time coaching youth rugby and doing committee or fundraising work around the island.

​I’m a good listener, down-to-earth, and looking for people who can hold a decent, regular conversation. Primarily looking for friends but happy to see where things lead
