I felt the effects of Naltrexone in real time

I’ve been on Naltrexone for about a month now, and I definitely feel like it’s been helping. But today was the first time I felt the effects immediately.

I had a few drinks and was starting to get a buzz. I’m not new to drinking (hence the medication) but suddenly it was like the feeling just.. stopped. I sobered up so fast it honestly felt like I had rewound to before I drank anything. It was almost like I had been drinking water instead of alcohol.

I could still physically tell I had drank, but the buzz/euphoria was gone.

Has anyone else experienced this on Naltrexone? or any alcohol suppressing meds
