New to endgame

So I'm very new to endgame in poe and I'm attempting to do my 3rd trail but I can barely make it past the second trial as I run out of honor, I'm using shockwave and I deal decent dmg I think but the game absolutely sucks for targeting constantly trying to attack a random enemy miles away or my attack gets blocked by the smallest object or I roll then it just attacks air is there any fix for this without having to reroll a character (this is my first time making it to endgame in poe2 and I don't have the most time to play so I'd rather not reroll)
