I keep doing tasks in my sleep and it’s ruining my sleep cycle, any suggestions?
Sort of as the title says, I started to do repetitive tasks in my sleep and waking up doing them. It started in 2024 and was rare but still happened, I would be dreaming I was somewhere and I would have to harness someone up (at the time I worked at an activity centre). I would be doing this and wake up in the middle of my room stood harnessing the air. Then it moved to more random things, waking up doing choreography from a show from years ago, removing pictures from my walls, reorganising my room. But it was still infrequent.
Then I move to university, it stopped and I thought I was free. Fast forward around 8 months and I have moved into a flat with two friends, they have said they’ve noticed strange things like me cleaning, cooking, making drinks, doing washing and sometimes acting out scenes from work both audibly and visually as well as playing the audio we use which is downloaded on my phone. I remember elements like the tidying and doing washing but none of the other stuff.
For a bit of additional background I have generalised anxiety, depression, chronic pain and fibromyalgia diagnosed though I doubt these would impact anything.
If anyone knows what this could be, how I could fix it or has suggestions to make sleep more restful please let me know.
