Books to Explore New Ways of Seeing Life / the World
I grew up Roman Catholic in the US and actively practiced until a little over a year ago, when a series of traumatic events forced me to pause and reflect. I still don’t know what I believe spiritually, why we’re here, etc. but I think I’m finally ready to face those questions.
I’m interested in learning more about pretty much any spiritual practice. All I know is what I grew up with. However, I’m particularly curious to learn more about Buddhism as well as the more “left” and/or pagan-ish, matriarchal side of Catholicism.
Not even limiting this to non-fiction or self-help. Even fiction stories that lean on different spiritualities or philosophies would be amazing! I just want to learn other ways of contextualizing our world.
