Growth Screen

I have had a hard time finding out if it is possible to get the game to show you the growth screen without actually growing. Either natively or with a mod. I really like the big chunky icons that show you what kind of improvement goes on each tile type, and it is not so easy to see at a glance when my cities/towns aren’t growing. Can anybody help me figure it out?
