Redsec Duos Disabled?

Hi All, is there any reason why RedSec Duos are currently disabled until next Tuesday? and was this ever announced?

Maybe I didn't see the announcement, but just seems the most arbitrary thing ever to just disable it like that, I understand we got Solos and Ranked Quads, but I literally only play the game with 1 other friend so while it's just a week, there doesn't seem to be a good reason why. Just thought it was funny if they disabled the thing randomly.
