# Explore the Triangles

This tool combines a dark, globe-spanning map with visual correlations, ranking them by danger levels and interactive exploration. Here’s how it works:

* **Visual Danger Rankings**: The sidebar lists each triangle with a **danger index** (e.g., Alaska at 9.4, Nevada at 9.1) and a key novel stat, like "Infrasound vortices" or "GPS spoofing corridor". The colored dots and index numbers help you quickly compare relative risk.
* **Data-Rich Pop-ups**: Click any triangle's polygon or its pulsing center marker. The pop-up card reveals **cutting-edge insights**—from Alaska's "Mirror-Smooth Lake Illusion" and Dragon's "Methane Time Bomb" to Bennington's "111 Hz Stone Chamber Resonance". These aren't just legends; they explain plausible scientific mechanisms.
* **Cross-Triangle Correlations**: The sidebar bottom features **tagged patterns** (e.g., "All 5 = magnetic anomalies", "Red clothing cryptic in autumn (AK+VT)"). These highlight shared phenomena across different locations, turning isolated mysteries into a connected web of anomalies.
* **Quick Navigation**: Click a sidebar row to **fly the map** to that triangle and automatically open its insight pop-up. You can also press keys **1-5** to jump between triangles, making it fast to compare their unique hazards.

# Pyramid Projections & Cross-Triangle Relativity

This tool compares Alaska, Bermuda, and the Dragon's Triangle by projecting global "pyramids" and overlaying relationship metrics. Here’s how it works:

* **Global Pyramid Projections**: Each triangle has a **pyramid structure** drawn on the map. The **tip** is the triangle's center, and the **four base vertices** are spread across distant parts of the world (e.g., Alaska connects to Punta Arenas, Cape Town, Perth, and Madagascar). Toggle pyramids on/off using the checkboxes in the sidebar.
* **Relativity Metrics Table**: The sidebar includes a **comparison table** that quantifies how these triangles relate to each other across nine dimensions, including Danger Index, magnetic anomaly strength, methane hazard type, and solar cycle correlation.
* **Shared Phenomena Badges**: Color-coded badges highlight cross-triangle connections, such as "All 3: Magnetic anomalies" and "Bermuda+Dragon: Methane hydrates", making pattern recognition immediate.
* **Focused Navigation**: Click any sidebar row or press keys **1-3** to fly to a triangle and open its popup, which details unique scientific insights like Alaska's infrasound vortices or the Dragon's methane time bomb.
