CPTSD and survival adaptations

Our brains have developed and adapted to our environments growing up in different ways. One adaptation I never really see spoken about is the schizoid adaptation. For example, one symptom I have is faint visual hallucinations of shadow figures. Another example I recently saw was a younger man who had faint audio hallucination of zombies. If comfortable, I’m just curious what others experiences with complex ptsd specifically regarding the underlying schizoid traits has been like. And how to cope better with these symptoms?
