Can you merge weapons from different elements? Any list of non-obvious merges and all mergeable weapons?

Hey everyone,

I'm still trying to fully understand the weapon merge system and I have a few questions:

• Can you merge two weapons that have different elements (for example Fire + Electric, Holy + Fire, etc.)?
• Are merges restricted to specific weapon combinations, or can any weapons eventually merge if they meet certain requirements?
• Is there a list, spreadsheet, wiki page, or community guide showing all possible weapon merges?
• Are there any hidden or non-obvious merges that players have discovered so far?
• Which weapons currently have merge paths and which ones don't?

I've seen that some merged weapons don't seem to be obvious upgrades of their base weapons, so I'm wondering if there are secret combinations I'm missing. The game has over 60 weapons and not all of them appear to have fusion paths yet, so I'm trying to figure out what's actually possible.

Any information, screenshots, or lists would be greatly appreciated.
