Does anybody else completely lose it when their kid has a meltdown?
I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. All the knowledge in the world doesn’t help when you’re in the middle of a meltdown and your own nervous system is firing.
It’s like emotional regulation is the skill nobody told us we’d need most..and we’re all just figuring it out in real time, usually at the worst possible moments.
I’d love to hear from parents about what that’s actually like for them.
If you’d be up for a casual 20-min chat, I’d genuinely love to listen. Drop a comment or DM me :)
