New board help!

Hello, I currently run a WaveZone 48in Slash. Im 6”3 and weigh 165lbs and am looking to upgrade to something more reliable that floats a bit better so I can reach waves. I typically just ride the shoreline and do small tricks and see how far I can go. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
