Now that both Aiden and Bruno are out this swap's a pretty interesting question to come back to. Well it's actually two questions.

For one, did Aiden swap the right person onto his team? Did Bruno actually help out his alliance(Tom, Gabby, Lake, Rosa) and take out the people he wanted?

I'd argue yes, but almost on accident. None of Aiden's allies really coordinated with Bruno to take out anyone he wanted. However, his alliance's fractured state made the outsiders of the team target each other as they became the bigger threats (Natalia targeting Anastasia, Ally targeting Benji, Spenser targeting Bruno, and the shots being split around Alec). In addition, all 4 of his allies stayed till the end of pre-merge, with only Tom and Rosa being close calls. In other words, Aiden's goals effectively worked, he kept all of his people while eliminating someone who voted for him at every opportunity.

Finally, while Bruno did work for Spenser, he was the type of person Aiden thought could be a great addition for his allies. He got along with Tom and Lake very well, and did align with Rosa and Lake at the later half of pre-merge. In addition, he was a strong social threat to where even Spenser targeted him (over Tom and Gabby mind you) because of how likeable he was. Even challenge wise, Bruno was shown to be very effective in the musical and the episode 11 challenge! Bruno really was everything Aiden wanted as a player for his alliance... well except for actually working with his alliance. Spenser got to Bruno first.

Now the second question, did Aiden's swap help for when he was on the Fans team?

It's pretty easy to say no for this one. For one, he got out in premerge, barely lasting 6 episodes before getting eliminated. For two, he had to rely on Evie and Alec's advantage lie for his game position. The Alec lie completely fell apart on Manu's elimination and Sam's discovery of the lie from BRUNO of all people. And Evie was an active liability for Aiden's team and was barely aware of Aiden's loyalty to her (she even voted him out). And for three, probably the biggest reason for me, he just worked with the wrong people. Ara and Sam turned on him without telling him, Finn's crashout was the other reason his alliance crumbled. He also went against Ren, who had an idol and pretty much targeted him after he eliminated Ernesto for the entire game. And again, Evie... was not good for his game and was a waste of effort.

Also idk if this would be a consideration, but wouldn't Bruno be an ideal ally for Aiden on the Fans team? Like, dude was such a good ally for Spenser of all people, being loyal to him until the very end. Imagine if Aiden swapped Manu and worked with Bruno instead of Evie. Power duo, I'm telling you.

To conclude, Aiden's plan worked... for everybody but himself. It worked for his allies by keeping them in the game, and Bruno was an excellent number, you know, for Spenser to accidentally carry the Cyan team on his back. But Aiden really didn't gain anything out of it for his own game, and **worst of all**, **he didn't even get his betrayer Ally out of the game** (aw man!) I now wonder how Aiden's game would change if he instead worked with Bruno on the fans team knowing up to episode 11, and if both players could've made it farther from that angle.

Anyways, those are my thoughts. Feel free to say your thoughts below. Thanks!

Did Aiden's Team Swap with Bruno actually work out for him?
