So the long awaited dlc is coming and I figured it might change some stuff up in how the game works and add new stuff to the open world we already have  so I'm not sure what to do with my playthrough which is still my 1st one

The reason it's still my 1st is I keep switching around to other games (mostly live service i think i have a problem with them) and never got round to finishing my 1st playthrough.

I got up to the explore sea shrine  quest btw and did every side quest and explored everything to make sure I didn't miss out on anything

My 1st idea was to just not finish the game till the dlc rolls around then i could explore the dlc area and the world again then beat it

But I'm already killing drakes in less than 5min at lv88+ with max lv equipment so I feel it would ruin my dlc experience, also idk if doing the dlc in DD1 gives you an entirely different ending and the game ends right after beating the devil looking guy, cuz if that happens for DD2 that means I can't get the trophys for the king and UW endings

My 2nd idea was to do the dlc in NG+ since Ik it's possible to platinum the game in one playthrough and then i could re-explore the world for any new goodies and the dlc

But then I face the overleveled issue again which wouldn't be a problem if theres gonna be a hard mode which i could start at the being of NG+ because I heard some where that might happen in the August update, and i heard that im dd1 hard mode made the game a challenge again even at a really high lv

And my final and 3rd idea was to make a new save since we're supposed to be getting multiple save slots. 

But I haven't looked into how those would work, like of its standard save slots like in other games where you can have playthrough A, B and C. Or just an extra save slot in addition to inn and autosaves that saves when you camp or something.

I also really don't want to start over from fresh because it's taken me 150hrs maybe 250hrs to get where I am now, I'm still finding new stuff and i really don't want to do it all over again. I still haven't even got enough seeker's tokens for the staff and corset!

So I think I'll go with my 2nd idea if there's hard mode, 2nd still even if there isn't and 3rd if I'm to op for the dlc. And until the dlc drops I'm just gonna keep exploring then finish the game

Sorry for the wall of text, I just want some feedback because I'm never sure of anything I do is right or a good idea most the time
