I need help with making a puzzle for my players to do over Discord.
Hey guys I just wanted to make a post and ask for some help, sorry for the essay. Me and my friends play through discord since we all live very far from one another and I'm trying to figure out a puzzle for them to complete. So for context in our world runes hold more power, kind of acting like electricity powering street lights and that sort. There is also a strong drug called Strand that is basically the Weave in raw form, also when inhaled in its much weaker gas state it acts as a sort of magical enhancer. But when you use too much it will make you over load and implode. So one of my bbeg's was going to rig vests onto civilians that would inject them over time with Strand making them overdose. The idea for the puzzle was that the vests would use runes as their activator switch and the players objective would be to choose the right ones to disable. The problem I've run into is making a sort of map to help them solve it and not having it turn into a guessing game.
