Ring a bell for $2500, or wait and everyone gets $10000?

Loopholes Encouraged

Hypothetically, you were in a room with twenty people (there is no guarantee you know them), and each person had a bell (think of the ones used to call a receptionist, its tiny. It will not go off unless pressed with force, though, so accidental rings will not be a problem). Everyone can see each other.

If no one rings their bell for ten minutes, everyone walks away with $10k. If someone rings their bell at any time before the ten minutes are up, the first person who presses gets $2500, but the others get nothing.

What would you do in this case, or what's your thought process?
