Searching previous chats for keywords works like a charm in ChatGPT. But in Claude, it simply doesn't work, and never has. Even if the chat was very recent, it's a coinflip whether your search will find it. And if the chat was a while back, you can basically forget it. Previous chats will also simply disappear in Claude over time.

Why is this so hard for Anthropic to figure out? It's an absolutely critical feature.
