Help covering kittens nub!!

I recently took in 2, 4 week old kittens. One of them is a tripod baby (hind right leg). We just took him to the vet to evaluate his nub and unfortunately it was fractured when he was smaller and is now healing improperly + there is an abscess on it. We made him a paper cone but he is squeezing out of it and getting his jaw caught on it. He is too tiny and delicate for those inflatable cones so im trying to find a way to cover the nub while we wait for the antibiotics to do their thing. Is there anything i can do? Is there a way for me to make a recovery suit that still allows him to go potty?? Or is he just going to have to deal with the cone :(
