Someone develops the cloning technology from the maulers.

With a drop of blood a new body can be cloned and grown memories have to be copied from the original body to the new body.

What would the ethical and practical problems be with this provided people could voluntarily donate dna to create clones for people who need a new body for various medical reasons ?
