Hello everyone, I am Fred Memelord. You might have known me as the leader of the centre-left party (UPF, UPP, SDPR, UDF, SPD), chief backstabber, traitor to the left, counter revolutionary scum and my personal favourite: Social Fascist.

Over the months I've led the social democrats and supported them wherever I could. I've now come here in this open letter to apologise for the very thing I helped create. I regret being a social democrat, I regret backstabbing the left for all those times and I regret betraying the interests of the working class for all those times.

Ever since September I had been constantly leading a party of liberals and Revisionists (one of which was myself). I had sabotaged the left, supported the right and flip flopped wherever I could. I had been an opportunist, who used every chance to benefit my party, not the working class. For that I find it fitting to plead an apology since I am a Red Grits Alliance member.

I apologise for being in the party that glorified reformism and justified the killings of the Spartacus League revolutionaries that are Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht. I felt like this deserved a special place since for so long the party had defended their killings.

I apologise for being a counter revolutionary reactionary Social Democrat. Ever since late April I have been taking a close interest in libertarian socialism. My readings and research is what led me to stray away from it and to revolutionary politics.

Finally I apologise to all my comrades for betraying them for the sake of social "democracy". My final plea is that I know you may never forgive me but I want to make things right, to join the good side of history.

I want to commit myself to be a leftist.

Thank you and best regards.

Open Letter from a Former Social Democrat
