40m4f Calgary - looking for a good connection

I’ve been lurking for a while and figured I’d finally introduce myself.

My marriage is… fine. Not terrible, not explosive, not headed for divorce. We function well as a team, but somewhere along the way the spark faded. The bedroom has been dead for quite a while, and the emotional closeness isn’t what it used to be. I think what I miss most is feeling genuinely connected to someone.

As for me, I’m fairly introverted, but once I’m comfortable, I can talk about just about anything. I enjoy deep conversations about life, relationships, and what makes people tick, but I’m equally happy debating the best pizza toppings, talking sports, or sharing ridiculous stories from the day.

Outside of family life, I enjoy cooking, soccer, golf, running, and the occasional gaming session. I’m the kind of person who enjoys a quiet night in but also appreciates good banter and a sense of humor.
