My brother had a dream about something that happened (almost)

My brother was talking to me yesterday and telling me about how he doesnt like sleeping because he doesnt like the dreams he has. I probed him further and he told me he has a lot of scary dreams and has had a lot of them come true, or partially true.

The only specific example he told me was about 20 years ago he had a dream about me getting hit by a car on my bicycle and dying. Two days before I was actually hit by a car on my bicycle. I was away at college at the time so I didnt have a lot of contact with my brother. I wasnt a big bike rider prior to this event. I ALMOST died the old lady that hit me tried to like roll over to check on me, but she almost ran me over and I had to tuck and roll out of the way. My bike was trashed but I did walk away, quite sore but I recovered. It was kind of surprising my brother brought this event up, it wasnt a major event in my life or even during college.

For context - my brother and I have not had a good relationship. I am trying to repair it. But my brother has some learning disabilities that have made life hard for him. I could tell he was not having a good time sleeping and I wonder if there is something I can do to try and help him. Maybe help him understand his dreams or help him take control. I dont think he is losing sleep about dreams from 20 years ago but clearly some of his dreams are bothering him, and have been for some time.
