I would love to know...
What is your guys' personal interpretation/meaning of the term 'dyke'?
Do you identify with it? if so, why?
Same question for if you don't.
I'm aware there's quite a lot of history attached to it, I'm sure that feeds into each one of your reasons.
Only recently have I been wanting to solely date women - before that, I basically only dated men. I identified as bisexual, sure, but I'd never really dated women for the sole reason that every woman I was interested in was unavailable for one reason or another. It was "easier" to date men - until I realized I'm pretty much only interested in women. So, quite honestly, I'm really only properly getting into queer culture now. Oh how the tables have turned!
I look forward to learning. ✨
