Pesado HD vs IMS shower screen - BB Plus

Sup gang.

Had some free tendies laying in my piggy bank so i figured i spend it on some coffee gear.

Machine: Bambino Plus with a Cafelat silicon gasket

Pesado HE Basket

Pesado HD Shower screen

Pesado EP 20g basket

this is only going to be about the Pesado HD shower screen as that is where the hype is.

I've had my IMS shower screen since April 2025. this is the nanotech coated one that is almost gone. Never had an issue other than its a bit of a pain to install bc if you overtighten the screw, water can go to one side or have other issues with flow. Paid $30 on amazon for it.

Quality wise, the Pesado HD is really good. Feels good in hand. Installation is easy no fiddling around. As you can see in the videos, water coming out of it doesnt look as pretty as other videos i've seen. The IMS doesnt look as pretty either and its never the same.

Taste wise: they both tasted the same to me in milk drinks which is what i drink all the time.
