Title: Help me find this sentimental webpage: "The Widest Webpage Ever Created" with artist squares (2005-2010)

Hey everyone, I have a very special/sentimental request to find a webpage I visited years ago.

What I remember:

  • The site claimed to be the "widest webpage ever created"
  • It consisted of square fields that scrolled horizontally (not vertically)
  • Each square was created by a different artist
  • The page was completely seamless – artists continued from the last square's edge in a non-chunked manner, so it was very hard to detect where one square ended and the next began
  • The styles shifted and mixed along the way, creating a flowing artistic experience
  • It wasn't infinite – I don't think it was millions of squares, but a substantial finite number
  • I visited it between 2005 and 2010

What I don't remember:

  • The URL or website name
  • How many squares there were
  • Any specific text or title on the page
  • The color scheme or specific art styles

I have a strong visual memory of this page, and it's been on my mind for years. This was clearly a collaborative digital art project from the early internet art scene, but I can't find it through any searches I've tried.

Anyone heard of this? Could it be:

  • "The Longest Website" / "Longest Page"?
  • "Everyone on One Page"?
  • Some other collaborative art project from that era?

If you know this page or have seen references to it, I'd really appreciate any help finding it again. Thanks in advance!
