Tionda and Diamond Bradley were sisters who mysteriously disappeared from their Chicago apartment on July 6, 2001. Tionda, age 10, and Diamond, age 3, were left alone at home while their mother was at work. Their disappearance is one of the largest and most intensive manhunts in Chicago history, yet the case is still unsolved. When their mother returned home from her shift, she discovered the sisters were gone and found a note that was said to be written by Tionda. The note stated the girls were going to the nearby store and to a school playground, but extensive searches of the neighborhood, abandoned buildings, and rail crossings there was nothing.

Chicago Police Department, the FBI, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) have continued to investigate the case for over two decades.NCMEC and the FBI released age-progressed photos of what the sisters would look like as adults, Tionda would be in her early 30s and Diamond in her late 20s.

Over the years, several women have come forward claiming to be one of the Bradley sisters. In 2023, a woman in Texas gained public attention after claiming on social media to be Diamond. Chicago FBI agents stepped in to investigate, take DNA samples, and conduct fingerprint tests, but no conclusive matches have confirmed these claims are true.Authorities continue to treat the disappearance as an active, open case. Anyone with any information—no matter how small it may seem—is encouraged to contact the Chicago Police Department or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
