I'm a bit confused on the best way to experience the story as a new player

Hi, sorry if this isn't allowed, but I'm a new player and I just finished Evil Time part 2 I think. Amiya just told me about the mission selection menu from the terminal, but in the top right corner, there's an option to swap the mission order between "movements" and "unlock time."

I'm a little confused on which of these seem to be preferable for a new experience. I assume unlock time because that was probably how the devs intended the story to be experienced, right? I just don't want to accidentally jump to anywhere there are major spoilers.
