Hey everyone,

First off, thank you all for being such an incredible community. I have been reading LitRPG for a few years now, starting back in 2021 and found this sub shortly after. Funnily enough I feel like the first book I read that led me into this genre was actually Minecraft: The Island by Max Brooks which I picked up on a whim not really expecting much but one think kind of led to another where I was trying to find books that had a similar vibe and here I am. I've used this sub to find so many books and recs its been amazing.

I started writing my own story on Royal Road and even made it onto Rising Stars for a bit, which was honestly a really cool experience. Unfortunately, life got hectic and I fell out of the rhythm of writing, so that project ended up on pause for now.

Before all of that happened though, I made it a goal to fully write and finish at least one story from beginning to end. That story became Divided Hearts. Which I was able to use a lot of lessons from my other project. I originally had this posted on Royal Road for a while, and people seemed to receive it pretty well but this one didn't have that same traction as my other project did. But after some time, I decided to stub it and publish it on Kindle to just go from start to finish on something.

I will be the first to admit that I am definitely not a professional writer but I genuinely loved crafting the world and characters for this one. A lot of the inspiration came from elements of series I have enjoyed over the years.

If anyone ends up checking it out, I would truly love any feedback, good or bad. I am always trying to improve, and honestly, I am just happy to finally have something out there. I've actually had this book on Kindle Unlimited for awhile now but refrained from posting because honestly I was just nervous. But with some recent health scares I've been dealing with I think I'm at a phase where I'm just more so regretting not even trying.

Hey everyone, thank you all for being such an incredible community. After years of reading LitRPG, I finally self published my own story, Divided Hearts
