I built a postcode/area checker - it's free to use

Disclaimer : This is a completely free to use tool with no sign up required

I rarely post but wanted to share a personal project I've been working on with a pal for many months.

It allows you to see official statistics: cleaned, joined up and nearly presented for any place in England. Postcode, town and City.

Crime, housing, schools, transport, people, environment and amenities for every postcode.

It's been incredibly difficult to join together, and then to ensure it automatically stays updated but we got there in the end. Not cheap to keep running either but our main goal is to try and make public data actually public.

We started with schools, then moved onto places and will keep adding as much as feasibly possible.

The rest of the UK is a priority on our roadmap, unfortunately each country reports differently so it's not a simple task.

I don't make money from people using the site in anyway but if it just helps out even a handful of people here it will feel like a success.

Feel free to share if you find it useful, if you don't would love feedback to improve 🙏
