Had a crazy week and it’s only Thursday. Let’s share some stories about clinical research craziness, I’ll go first.

This week I got back from an IMV where a the previous CRA spent most of his time burning bridges with the site team. opened my email to a privacy incident involving my best performing site 😭 I leave for vacation next week and plan to throw my work phone into the ocean

my horror two stories: i enrolled someone on a study when they did not have the disease under study. we caught it during screening, but I still thank my lucky stars every single day.

next one: my first monitoring visit was a clean up visit after the prior CRA was asked to resign. My trainer and I immediately found an incomplete ICF (data disclosure sections were blank) and the participant had passed away prior to discovery.
