Is Wild Card worth it?

Hi, i came back to NV after years of playing f4, i play fallout 3 and nv on ttw like 3-4 years ago and suddenly felt this urge to play again and saw that the wild card modpack is really big and change a lot of things so i was wondering if its worth or replay using a small modpack?
