Suboxone to Butrans

Does anyone have any experience switching from Suboxone to Butrans patches. I have been on Suboxone for about 15 years, mainly at about 1 to .5 mg a day dosage. When I began it was for substance abuse but I have mainly stayed with it because I no longer deal with the pain issues that got me started with opiods and abuse of them thereafter.

Cutting the strips and dealing with the ups and downs that come with a low dose of suboxone has been a hassle and I learned about Sublocade recently. From what I understand, the Sublocade route would require me to significantly up the Suboxone dosage before switching and would also not work as well for pain relief due to the fact that Sublocade provides a higher dosage (less pain relieving) treatment.
