After I told her she called CPS and my caseworker. They wouldn’t let me leave the counselor’s office, and even after school got out they still wouldn’t let me leave. My caseworker eventually came and told me I was being moved to a new foster home. I clearly asked her if she could please get my clothes books drawings, and the rest of my stuff from my old placement She told me she would. I also kept asking if I could go with her because I wanted to make sure I got my things but she wouldn’t let me go and kept telling me she would handle it and she took me straight to my new foster home so it’s not like I could have went to go get my stuff if I wanted too. Today I asked her if she got my stuff, and she told me no. She said my former foster mom had already thrown everything away because they are only supposed to hold belongings for 24 hours after someone leaves placement. but I honestly don’t believe all my stuff was thrown away because i seen so many kids leave and they stuff was still there so why is it that mine was thrown away? I feel like she just didn’t want to give it back and now everyone is taking her word for it. What really annoys me is that it feels like nobody even tried to verify it. My clothes are one thing but I also had books, drawings and personal things from my bio family that can’t just be replaced. Am I wrong for being upset about this? Because everyone is acting like it’s not a big deal but it feels like I lost everything all over again

AIO? my foster sibling took my underwear and instead of it being handled my foster mom blew up on me for asking for it to be replaced. UPDATE: I’m in a new foster home and I found out my foster mom threw away all my personal items
