My boss is selling farmed salmon as wild at farmers markets. Is this normal?

Just curious as I've been feeling a certain way lying to customers. Much of our product we don't catch or process ourselves but we charade as if we do. Just feels wrong because our fish is very expensive. I was just wondering if this is a normal process for fish markets, or more importantly farmers markets, since they tend to stress local.
