Boston Natural surroundings 3.0 tree + landscape grass mod

Has anyone got this to work? The tree mod works fine and so does the landscape but the grass just never shows up for me. I've tried only running the landscape and grass mod without the tree mod and nothing else. Hard reset, clear cache, delete Reserved space. Nothing. On nexus I clearly see this mod had awesome grass.
