Strategy view over regular mode?

Still getting into Civ6 learning the ropes, just kicked it up to King difficulty, trying to understand every option and mechanic and actually really prefer using the grid style is strategy view to play the game. Do people leave this on for their playthroughs or is it something most people toggle for a short amount of time and go back to the regular view?
