Starting Onco-Fertility process in a couple of days. Anything you wish you knew before hand ?

Newly diagnosed (6/1/26), and have to wait a few weeks for my consult with the surgical oncologist. My medical oncologist decided now is the time for fertility preservation treatment. Has anyone gone thru this before ? Fertility preservation has never been a plan of mine. My husband and I started trying a few months prior to my diagnosis after a few years being on the fence. I’m 34 & very grateful this is part of the BC oncology onboarding process. I read the mychart biopsy results and cried my eyes out thinking now I’ll never have the chance to start a family. What a whirlwind this whole process has been so far.
