Hi all, this is an orchid I got at the Santa Barbara Orchid Festival a few years ago. It has a black spot that I think was from sun damage, and the leaves have been consistently wrinkly. I guess I'm just asking for general advice on how to care for this and improve it's health. I'm in the PNW.

Leaves and Watering:

* I've tried increasing my watering schedule. I occasionally bottom soak it with filtered water, but I usually spray the bark and the roots sitting on it very liberally with filtered water. At one point I watered two to three times a week, but I can't seem to get the leaves to un-wrinkle.
* The black spot is likely from sun damage from when we lived in California. It had morning sun for a few hours for a while, but I didn't know as well at the time. Theres a leaf in there that I cut off since it had a large black spot, but I was unsure if that was the best approach. Should I cut the other black section off as well?

Light and Roots:

* Our window

 faces northwest and has a large tree overhead on the right. It gets a short amount of sun in the morning, but mostly just bright light the rest of the day. It’s hard finding a spot in this area that has bright light and no direct sun, does this need more or less light? Should I get some kind of shade cloth or something?
It seems to be putting out a lot more roots lately, but last time I repotted it, there were very few viable roots. Do you think it needs to be repotted at all?
