if you could redesign one part of food delivery apps, what would it be?

hey everyone, hope this is okay to ask here.

i’m working on a small project around restaurant ordering / digital menus / delivery management, mostly aimed at smaller restaurants like pizza places, burger shops, açaí/dessert shops, takeout spots, etc.

i’m not selling anything and i won’t drop any links. i’m just trying to understand the real annoying parts from people who actually deal with this stuff every day.

if you’re a restaurant owner, manager, kitchen worker, server, delivery driver, or even just someone who orders delivery a lot:

what’s the most frustrating part of current delivery apps / online ordering systems?

could be anything: messy orders, bad timing, confusing tablets, driver wait times, customers entering wrong addresses, fees, support, menu management, modifiers/add-ons, refunds, order status, printing tickets, communication between kitchen and front desk, etc.

and if you could change or improve one thing about these systems, what would it be?

just trying to learn from real experiences before building features nobody asked for lol
