Tips on finding a place with low credit score in queens

This is kinda a dumb post. My credit score used to be in the high 700s but after missed student loan payments I got put in delinquency and had my score tanked to 555. That was my fault I didn’t pay attention. I’m usually the person that always pay bills on time. I got a job offer in rosedale queens recently and will have to relocate to nyc since I’m not originally from ny. I have a guarantor(my parents) that can help me but their credit score arent higher than 750 either. Any tips on finding an apt?
